Hudson County Correctional Facility
Construction Management Services provided for the construction of a
new six-story 110,000 square-foot dormitory and kitchen facility. The project
involved a creation of a post-tensioned concrete building to foster secure
relocation of 512 inmates as well as a new kitchen to service the 2,000-inmate
population at the center. The security and fire protection systems were also
upgraded in the existing 750-cell facility.
Hudson County Service Center
Renovations and interior improvements to a seven-story existing building to
house county Sheriff, 911 Center, plus others. Scope included site, demolition,
asbestos, roofing, plumbing, electrical, hvac, and fire alarm systems.
Meadowlands Xanadu New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority
Construction Advisory Services awarded August 2003, for a 4.76 million sqft.
to include the nation’s first indoor Alpine ski resort, an indoor mini-formula one
style racing venue, a 32-screen movie palace, a live entertainment venue, a
minor-league baseball stadium plus hotel & office space. (*) The project
was halted but various areas were completed including the parking structures.
Union County College Elizabeth, Campus Expansion
CM services for the new 132,000 sf facility of the Union County College
Elizabeth Campus. The building will include five stories above grade and a
lower level with 150 seat lecture hall, multi-purpose classrooms, a Nursing
school and conference facility. Scope included site, street relocations,
general construction, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, masonry,
fire- alarm and landscaping…
Perth Amboy Public Safety Complex
Construction Management Services of two new municipal complex buildings
One two story building will house the Fire and EMS Department. The other
building is three stories with a Municipal Court, Police Headquarters, and
Recreation Building with a 50 meter, 8’ deep pool. All structures were steel
frame with concrete slab on metal deck.
Elizabeth Emergency Response Facility
Construction Management Services for new 23,000 sqft facility to house the
emergency response staff and City of Elizabeth emergency vehicles. Project
consist of site work, demolition, new 2 story building with high bay garages,
long span trusses, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, roofing, masonry, painting,
sprinkler, fire alarm systems…
Harrison New High School and Athletic Fields
Overall CM-Project Management Services on ½ acre former industrial site.
New construction building has one, two- and three-story areas and includes an
indoor swimming pool. The school had the following required educational
spaces like auditorium, media center, cafeteria, science labs and computer
rooms. Adjacent to the school, a new full-size Soccer and Football field was
constructed with two baseball diamonds surrounded by a recreational track and
bleacher building.
Ralph Oriscello Correctional Facility
Construction Management Services for the installation of security cameras,
renovations to existing locker and muster areas as well as the public entrancelobby. Replacement and relocation of building control center, relocation of
security booths on each floor/pod and replacement of all building elevators.
Renovations to the chancery court was also included in the scope of work.
Union County Engineering Building
Construction Management Services to provide new renovated office space for
the county. The building is a two-story steel frame structure with a brick
exterior. The total area is 12,600 sqft and includes a large atrium space with a
vaulted skylight.
